Applications are now available for the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training that will begin on September 11. The class meets every Wednesday night through October 16 and culminates with a final disaster drill on Saturday, October 19. The CERT program is coordinated through the Huntley Police Department.
The CERT program helps train people to be better prepared to respond to emergency situations in their communities. Members can also volunteer for non-emergency community events. For more information and the application, visit the CERT section or contact Officer Racila at 847-515-5411 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
