Public Right-of Way Accessibility Transition Plan
The Village of Huntley has an expansive pedestrian system that links neighborhoods, recreational resources, government facilities, retail centers and business establishments. Pedestrian accessibility provides benefits not only for people with disabilities, but for the community at large. In an effort to continuously improve the pedestrian system, the Public Right-of-Way Accessibility Transition Plan was prepared in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act to serve as the Public Right-of-way Accessibility Transition Plan for the Village of Huntley. Included in the document are the results of a self-evaluation that addresses accessibility barriers to Village programs, activities and services.
