Department Overview and Organization

It is the policy of the Village of Huntley Police Department to maintain an organizational structure that is consistent with its goal of providing efficient, effective police service to the community which we serve.  The Administration of the department consists of the Chief of Police and two Deputy Chiefs who each oversee one bureau.

The Patrol Services Bureau consists primarily of the four Area Patrol Teams, the Community Services Officer, Traffic Operations, Accident Investigation, Field Training and the Police Social Worker.

The  Support Services Bureau includes the Office of Professional Standards, Criminal Investigations, the School Resource Officer Program, the Community Response Officer, Property and Evidence Management, Fleet Management, Law Enforcement Accreditation, the Records Section and Department Training.
