Bike Huntley
This annual community bike ride is led by Huntley Police Bike Patrol Officers each summer.

Bike Patrol
The Huntley Police Department utilizes the bicycle patrol as a means to get into closer contact with the community, as weather conditions permit. 

Citizen Police Academy
The Citizen Police Academy is a ten week program designed to give the participants more knowledge of the Huntley Police Department.  

Coffee with a Cop
Coffee with a Cop brings police officers and the community members they serve together–over coffee–to discuss issues and learn more about each other.


Community Emergency Response Team (CERT)
The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program helps train people to be better prepared to respond to emergency situations in their communities. 

Law Enforcement Torch Run For Special Olympics
This annual intrastate relay and its various fundraising projects have two goals: to raise money and to gain awareness for the athletes who participate in Special Olympics Illinois. 

National Night Out Against Crime
National Night Out is an annual event that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, better places to live.

Neighborhood Watch

Neighborhood Watch is “crime prevention through community partnership” with groups designed to enable the Police Department and the community to work together to reduce crime. 

Operation Traffic Watch

This community based program is designed to create a partnership between the residents of Huntley and the Police Department in addressing neighborhood traffic issues within the Village.

Walk & Talk
Patrol Officers are encouraged to get out of their squads to walk and talk with residents and at the businesses within the Village.
