Coffee with a Cop

Building Relationships - One Cup at a Time
CwC Logo BlueCoffee with a Cop is a national initiative supported by The United States Department of Justice, Office of Community Oriented Policing Services. It allows Huntley Police Officers and members of the community to come together in an informal, neutral space to discuss community issues, build relationships and drink coffee.

Coffee with a Cop brings police officers and the community members they serve together - over coffee - to discuss issues and learn more about each other.  The mission of Coffee with a Cop is to break down the barriers between police officers and the citizens they serve.

In Person
Taking time to meet at neutral locations provides the opportunity for real conversations about issues that matter.
Casual Atmosphere
Coffee with a Cop events take place at local restaurants. Community residents can sit down with officers and ask questions or share what is on their mind.
Building Trust
In a short time, citizens and police officers get to know each other and discover mutual goals for the communities they live in and serve.
