The Village Clerk is the keeper of the official records of the Village - minutes, Ordinances, Resolutions, executed contracts, etc. The clerks office monitors the liquor licenses; wastehaulers licenses, raffle license requests and Freedom of Information Act requests.

Community Information
The Village Manager's Office provides information to the
public on a broad range of programs, services, issues, and policies
through publication of the
Village Journal, the Village Web Page, and other mechanisms. Staff
members prepare press releases, create brochures on village programs,
and organize educational efforts to better inform residents as
needed. Also, staff plans and conducts public relations programs and
activities and special events designed to create, improve, and
maintain a favorable public image for the Village.

Trustees employs a full-time Village Manager. The Village Manager form of
government is designed to separate politics from the administrative functions of
government services. All Department Heads are accountable to the Village
Manager.
