AMY WILLIAMS- Support Services Sergeant
Sergeant Williams has been with the Huntley Police Department since July 1999. She attended the Illinois State Police Training Academy and was promoted to Sergeant in January 2007. Sergeant Williams has an Associates in Arts from McHenry County College and Bachelors of Arts with a Major in Sociology / Criminology with a Minor in Political Science from Northern Illinois University. She earned her Post-Baccalaureate Certificate of Police Executive Administration and a Masters in Arts in Law Enforcement and Justice Administration from Western Illinois University. Sergeant Williams is a certified Juvenile, D.A.R.E., School Resource and an Elderly Service Officer. Other specialized training / certification includes Crime & Loss Prevention Practice, Crime Prevention Technology & Programming, Gang Enforcement, Interviewing and Interrogation, BASSET, Breath-Alcohol Testing, Designer Drug Awareness, Identity Theft and Domestic Violence. Sergeant Williams is also very active in the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Illinois.  Sergeant Williams is the Support Services Sergeant, and supervises the Records Division, Jail Operations, Building Maintenance, Fleet Maintenance and the Community Service Officer. Sergeant Williams is the Law Enforcement Agency Data Systems coordinator, Training Coordinator and is the Deputy Freedom of Information Officer for the department.

LINDA HOOTEN - Investigations Sergeant
Sergeant Hooten has been employed with the Huntley Police Department since December 2001. She received her academy training through the Police Training Institute at the University of Illinois in Champaign, Illinois. After two years as a patrol officer, Sergeant Hooten transferred into the School Resource Officer position at the Huntley High School for four years. She was promoted to Sergeant in July 2008. Sergeant Hooten graduated from Western Illinois University with a double Bachelor’s of Arts in Law Enforcement and Justice Administration and Psychology and a minor in Public Communications and Human Relations in May 2001. She continued her education and received a Master’s Degree in Law Enforcement and Justice Administration from Western Illinois University in May 2008. During her employment with the Huntley Police Department, Sergeant Hooten has been certified as a Juvenile, D.A.R.E, School Resource, Forensic Interviewer, Bicycle, Evidence Technician, and Gang Enforcement Officer. Additional areas of training include Domestic Violence, Autism Awareness, Interviewing and Interrogation, Police Suicide Awareness, and Background Investigations. Sergeant Hooten is a member of the Department’s Recruitment Team and Strategic Planning Committee. She participates in Care Trak, Premise Alert, and is an active member on the Family Violence Coordinating Council in McHenry County. Sergeant Hooten is currently assigned to the Investigations Division of the police department where she supervises the Investigations Division and the School Resource Officer. She is the Department's Evidence Custodian and Domestic Violence Coordinator and oversees the Office of Professional Standards.
