Officer Linda Hooten was officially promoted to the rank of Sergeant during the Village Board meeting on Thursday, July 24, 2008. Sergeant Hooten will assume the responsibilities of Area 4 Sergeant in place of Sergeant Schmitt who has recently resigned.
