Sean Halik, Charles McGrath, and Cory Coss joined the department and were officially sworn in on Thursday, March 26.
Sean Halik graduated from the University of Illinois and his hobbies are working out and playing basketball.
Charles McGrath grew up in Independence, MO and graduated from Elgin Community College. He served six years in the Marines, including a tour in Iraq. His hobbies include motorcycle riding and hunting.
Cory Coss attended McHenry County College and is a certified Police Officer, mostly recently working for the Fox River Grove Police Department. His hobbies include exercise, basketball, and softball.
Sean and Charles will attend the Police Training Institute in Champaign, IL beginning March 29, 2009. Cory will start the department's Field Training Program beginning April 6, 2009.
