Sergeant Williams has
been with the Huntley Police Department since July 1999. She attended the
Illinois State Police Training Academy and was promoted to Sergeant in
January 2007. Sergeant Williams has an Associates
in Arts from McHenry County College and Bachelors of Arts with a Major
in Sociology/Criminology with a Minor in Political Science from Northern
Illinois University. Sergeant Williams is currently pursing a Masters Degree in Law
Enforcement and Justice Administration from Western Illinois
University. She earned her Post-Baccalaureate Certificate of Police
Executive Administration from Western Illinois University.
Sergeant Williams is a certified Juvenile, D.A.R.E.,
School Resource and an Elderly Service Officer. Other specialized
training/certification includes Crime & Loss Prevention Practice, Prime
Prevention Technology & Programming, Gang Enforcement, Interviewing and
Interrogation, BASSET, Breath-Alcohol Testing, Designer Drug Awareness,
Identity Theft and Domestic Violence. Sergeant Williams is
also very active in the Law Enforcement
Torch Run for Special Olympics Illinois.
