Deputy Chief Michael Klunk has been employed with
the Huntley Police Department since March 1999. He is currently
assigned to the Huntley Police Department's Support Services Bureau
which oversees the department's internal affairs process, training,
investigations, emergency management, accreditation, jail operations,
building maintenance, vehicle fleet, and recruitment. Deputy Chief Klunk
is also assigned as the platoon leader to the Illinois Law Enforcement
Alarm System - Region 3 North Mobile Field Force. Deputy Chief
Klunk has an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice, graduated in 1999
from the Police Training Institute Basic Law Enforcement class, is a
2007 graduate of Northwestern University School of Police Staff and
Command (class 233), and 2008 graduate of the FBI National Academy
(session 232). He also served in the United Marine Corps Reserve. Deputy
Chief Klunk is married with two children. |
