KEVIN KEANE - Area #1 Sergeant   

Sergeant Keane has been employed with the Huntley Police Department since 2001. He received his academy training through the Police Training Institute at the University of Illinois in Champaign, Illinois.  In 2010, he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Management from Benedictine University.  During his employment with the Huntley Police Department, Sgt. Keane has worked as a patrol officer, evidence technician, field training officer, officer in charge, and was assigned to investigations as a detective for the 9 years prior to his promotion. While in Investigations, he was assigned to the McHenry County Major Investigation Assistance Team (MIAT), the Kane County Accident Reconstruction Team (KCART), and is a state certified Traffic Crash Reconstructionist. Sergeant Keane served as the patrol officer’s union president from 2005-2016 and was previously nominated for Kane County Officer of the Year.  He also teaches law enforcement throughout the country as a national instructor in open source investigations.

SCOTT SULLIVAN - Area #2 Sergeant  

Sergeant Sullivan has been employed with the Huntley Police Department since June of 2002. Sergeant Sullivan attended the Police Training Institute at the University of Illinois in Champaign. Sergeant Sullivan has been assigned to the Patrol Division of the Huntley Police Department since graduating from PTI. Sergeant Sullivan is in charge of the department's Field Training Program, Bicycle Officer Program, and the Citizens Emergency Response Team (CERT). Sergeant Sullivan is the department's physical fitness specialist, and a Care Trak instructor. Sergeant Sullivan graduated from Western Illinois University in 2001 with a Bachelor Degree in Law Enforcement and Justice Administration. He enjoys golfing, Crossfit, and spending time with his wife and two children.

MICHAEL HEWITT - Area #3 Sergeant  

Sergeant Hewitt has been employed with the Huntley Police Department since January of 1990. Sergeant Hewitt graduated from the Illinois State Police Academy in 1988 and worked for the Hampshire Police Department until 1990. Prior to that he was a volunteer paramedic for Elburn Ambulance and a dispatcher for the Kane County Sheriff's Office. Sergeant Hewitt graduated from the Northwestern Traffic Institute School of Staff and Command, has been a Police Sergeant since 1996, a DARE officer, Administrative Sergeant, and Patrol Sergeant.  Sergeant Hewitt has an Associate Applied Science Paralegal degree from Elgin Community College and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Management from Benedictine University.

JOSEPH WILLARD - Area #4 Sergeant  

Sergeant Willard has been employed with the Huntley Police Department since June of 2001. Sergeant Willard graduated from Northeast Multi-Regional Training in 2000 and worked for the Veterans Park District Police Department and the Tower Lakes Police Department. He served the Village of Huntley as a Patrol Officer for 5 years then was assigned as a Detective in the Investigations Division for 9 years. During his time in the Investigations Division, Sergeant Willard was a member of the Kane County Major Crimes Task Force. Sergeant Willard is also a member of the Kane County Accident Reconstruction Team (KCART). In 2010 he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Management from Benedictine University. Sergeant Willard enjoys spending time with his family and friends, is a little league coach and an automotive enthusiast.
